RACHEL SOLOMON

I am a working professional in the Canadian healthcare system. I currently work as an Event Coordinator for Canadian Blood Services, being offered the position after being a volunteer with the organization for 3 years during my undergraduate degree. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa, Ontario, with a Bachelors in Health Sciences focusing on Human Health. 
After growing up in the small city of Peterborough, ON, I now live in Toronto, ON. Being in the city helps me explore many of my favourite activities, such as trying new food, visiting museums, and experiencing new cultures. I also enjoy reading and binging shows on Netflix in my downtime. 
I am currently looking to further my education and utilize my leadership skills within my industry. This is why I am pursuing a Master's degree in Health Studies with a focus on Leadership. It is my hope that during my education, I can learn the skills required to further my career and achieve a management position within my organization.
